About Us

We have a membership of 150 with a healthy waiting list. Membership is by invitation.
Luncheon meetings are arranged once a keynote sporting speaker becomes available.
Members are encouraged to bring a guest along. Average luncheon attendance is around 180 sporting enthusiasts.

Previous Guest Speakers include:

Peter FitzSimons was a Wallaby who played seven Rugby Tests for Australia in a two-year international career from 1989 to 1990. He is now a journalist with the Sydney Morning Herald and Sun-Herald, and a busy events and motivational speaker. He is the author of over twenty-seven books.Peter was named a Member of the Order of Australia for service to literature as a biographer, sports journalist and commentator, and to the community through contributions to conservation, disability care, social welfare and sporting organisations.

The Evers-Swindell sisters are supreme athletes. In a sport which is clearly both physically and mentally demanding, Caroline and Georgina have demonstrated their sheer excellence, culminating in a second Olympic Gold.
They made Kiwi history with their Gold Medal win in the Women's Double Scull in Athens and again in Beijing in August 2008.

Hayden Roulston is a former professional track and road cyclist representing New Zealand. He has achieved on the international stage, including silver and bronze medals at the 2008 Olympics and three medals at the Commonwealth Games, as well as multiple national titles. After retiring from cycling in 2016, he has focused his passion and knowledge on supporting others in pursuing their cycling goals.
